The Military should uphold the don’t ask don’t tell policy

By RJS

Over the last couple of weeks I have heard about overturning the “Don’t ask, Don’t tell” policy in the military. Folks that’s pretty gay.

Consider basic things in the military like barracks, bathrooms and showers. Would we now have dedicated gay sleeping quarters? And how would men be separated that are gay from other men? Do men and women share sleeping quarters, showers and other basic things that are in the military now?

Don’t ask don’t tell is a common sense policy.

It’s not saying gay men can’t be in the military it’s saying please control yourself and don’t talk about it in the military so the basic order of things doesn’t break down.
